The Draft Development Plan for the Gharaunda Town is being prepared and is likely to be published in near future for a project population of 60,000 up to the year 2021 A.D. Planning proposals have been shown in an area of about 1982 acres. The area is divided into 8 sectors residential, commercial, industrial, communication and other proposals.
